LONDON MUTHTHUMARI AMMAN

Arulmihu London Muththumari Amman Temple is presently in a leasehold property. The lease expired in March 2011. The trustees tried to persuade the landlord to sell the freehold or issue a new lease to Sivayogam. He has refused and has filed action at the Wandsworth County Court for possession of his property; we have to move from here.

The trustees have identified a property quite suitable for a larger Temple and a hall with parking space for about 100 cars within two miles from the present Temple. It is within walking distance from an underground station and has the benefit of several bus routes around it. It is more than an acre in size and has been agreed for £2.4m. It is believed that bank loan is available provided the trustees could make a deposit of £800,000.

A sum of £107,291 is lying to the credit of the trust at the bank. It is necessary for each and every devotee to contribute what he or she can afford as early as possible if we wish to have a permanent Temple with all necessary facilities. Your contributions are towards your children and grand children. They will remember you and perform the rituals for your souls from this Temple.

Please make the maximum contribution you could make now. I beg everyone who can afford to make a minimum payment of £10,000 at your earliest. Those who are less fortunate, please try to contribute the maximum you can. Others may pay by monthly bank standing orders.

Those who wish to pay by cheque or cash may do so at the Temple reception and obtain the necessary receipts. Cheques may please be drawn in favour of “Sivayogam – Building Fund”. The account details:

Account No. : 20057541 Sort Code: 20 21 78
Account Title : SIVAYOGAM BUILDING FUND
Name of Bank : BARCLAYS, Clapham Group

A designated till is placed at the Temple floor wherein small donations may be dropped.

Please provide your postal address, telephone number and email address. If you wish to pay in the name of your child or anyone else please indicate clearly in whose favour you need the receipt to be made. Thank you very much.

May Her Grace be with you and your family.

Yours faithfully
Nagendram Seevaratnam
