The temple is functioning in a leased property with a monthly rent of £7,500.

£40,000 is still due to be paid toward the costs of starting the temple.

There are eight permanent priests who conduct the services in the temple.

There are a further two permanent employees who aid in the day to day running of the temple

During the annual festival, a religious speaker is brought from Sri Lanka or India to give talks on Hinduism. For this service, the temple pays £1,000- £1,500 plus travel costs.

The temple hall is given free of charge to all charity programs.

Any person who creates public awareness about the problems in Sri Lanka is honoured by Sivayogam when they come to London.

To teach our culture to the younger generation, religious and musical classes are held in the temple.

In special cases, Sivayogam gives financial aid to needy families in the UK.

It also helps unemployed youngsters to get jobs.
